Abstract

Pharmaceutical services in hospitals are an integral part of the hospital health service system which is oriented towards patient care. Waiting time can be used as an indicator to find out how professional the Pharmacy is shown in the skills to serve prescriptions at the hospital. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between waiting time for prescription services and patient satisfaction at the Outpatient Installation of Gunung Maria Tomohon Hospital. This study used a cross-sectional design with a total of 254 samples. The inclusion criteria were patients who purchased concoction drugs at the Outpatient Installation of the Gunung Maria Tomohon General Hospital. Data collection used a questionnaire and data analysis used the Chi Square test. The conclusion of this study shows that of the 135 respondents whose waiting time was in accordance with the standard, 113 respondents (44.5%) expressed satisfaction with the service and of the 119 respondents whose waiting time was not in accordance with the standard, 63 respondents (24.8%) expressed dissatisfaction with the service, based on the research results At this time, hospitals are encouraged to continue to improve services, especially in outpatient installations, in order to improve service quality to improve patient satisfaction.
